This portfolio documents projects where the goal was not transformation but recovery: a Comstock cottage in Carmel whose original hand-hewn beams were obscured by decades of renovation; a Victorian in Pacific Grove where original windows and millwork were restored rather than replaced. Every material decision was made in dialogue with the home's history. These are not renovations. They are acts of stewardship.
